AFAIK, the only (sustained) nuclear fusion reactor we have is the sun...and that's still dangerous to be exposed to several light-minutes away :?

You've got it exactly right ino. He says there's a "20% increase in efficiency", but if the HHO cell is working as described, it should be giving over 100%- enough to power itself and then some. I think the video backfired :P When someone challenged the poster with this in the comments, he simply sa...

I'm a bit confused. It seems like in the first test he doesn't connect the output of the HHO cell and in the second one he does, but in both tests he's powering the HHO cell nonetheless. What does that prove? That connecting the cell wastes less energy than not connecting it?

There's a gazillion videos on Youtube that show HHO cells "working". Problem is, better MPG can be attributed to a bunch of factors, including running on a lean fuel mixture (which is bad for ze engine). If someone can show me a Youtube video of a Diesel generator connected to a lightbulb which can ...

Nowadays they'll just silence videos with copyrighted audio tracks. At least if someone complains about it. I guess that means we'll be seeing less dissapearing videos in the future.

Well, here's a "high-output" HHO cell: http://www.hhoshop.com/blog/ultra-high-output-electrolyzer-cells-by-punch-hho/ It generates 2.5 LPM(150 LH) at 40 amps. I'll assume it's using a car battery voltage of ~13.5V. So that's 540W, or 0.72hp. So with two of these, you could generate 300 Lph @ 1.44 Hp...

I just use the term HHO as a trade name rather than as a chemical name. Kinda like people who refer to nitrous oxide as "NOS". It just helps differentiate these devices from a wide range of body hair removal devices, which also go under the name "electrolysis".

Not to get off topic, but the whole electrolysis cell in a car thing isn't a complete scam. It allegedly increrases the thermal efficiency of the engine, so you're not getting power where none existed before, just making better use of what's already there. There is evidence to support that it works,...

I'm thinking it works on Venturi's principle in that it uses the pressure generated in the cylinder to create a high velocity airflow in the barrel. Just a thought.

I reckon you'd need something to hold the BB back in order to generate any significant pressure.

A chamber fan would help. They mix the fuel/air and increase power a bit.

It's weird though, according to Latke's tests, a 0.8:1 ratio actually outperformed a higher ratio:

Well, you should have some sort of warning alarm telling you the battery is getting low. Over-discharge ain't so healthy for LiPo batteries :?

Old capacitors. Take any old radio, computer monitor, power supply apart (be careful of residual high voltages), and you'll see hundreds of em. They won't do much damage due to their weight, but they're perfectly cylindrical and will make a good fit with some tape. Plus they're free.
