I don't know for sure, but in going to say that a single piston valve would be more powerful. I built a massive cannon once and used a piston valve. I didn't use a bumper and the piston was solid wood with a bolt through it. the cannon fired 5 or 6 times, then the valve blew up in my face. I'm lucky...

yep. make the barrel longer and add a pressure gauge. next step is go have fun, and when you are bored with it upgrade to a modified sprinkler valve. by the bell-shaped reducer is DWV (drain waste vent) which is intended for exactly that, draining waste and venting fumes. it is NOT designed for pres...

i dont think that "blew up" is the correct term. i just sounds like you have a solvent weld fail. so it more like it popped off. solvent welding just takes a little practice. like i said, use plenty and dont skimp out. you dont want to over do it and make a mess, but dont try to get a way and save a...

take a 1.25'' tee, solvent weld a 1.25'' to .5'' bushing in it, glue on a female adapter on the other end, mold a piston with a sealing face (bolt on the sealing face) put a good bumper in it, then put a threaded male end cap on the end, then thread a nipple into the end, then screw on a ball valve ...

I bet, in fact i know that it was a bad solvent weld. be generous with both the primer and cement and apply the cement while the primer is still wet. i know i am always anxious to try out a new cannon, but i force myself to wait until its properly dried and i make sure i use pressure rated materials...

Get a zero trigger for the aps2 series. its much better than the stock trigger and it comes with a new piston. And also please dont call airsoft sniper rifles "snipers". Snipers are people who use sniper rifles. They are not interchangeable. this is a little OT, but that reminds me of the time i we...

Joerg, what you need is a platinum pro series plus package with integrated on-board lithium stabilized groove and a nylon support structure to accompany the graphite reinforced handle that has a gyro stabilized counter sync mechanism. once you have done that, you should make a hand held ballista, th...
