ABS would be an option but being in an area where only PVC is available, it isn't really an option, unless i am willing to pay extra to have it shipped; I am not. Never trust dwv on pneumatics.

On low-tech combustions, yes they are OK. But when you start dealing with real high pressures, dwv is not your friend.
