They are both combustions. A pretty much idiot proof combustion would be jsut a in line combustion. The one you see next to the spudfiles name at the top of the page. With a simple piezo BBQ ignitor. WIth some other crap added on if you feel like it.

The temp is fine. Nothing is wrong with nsf-pw its is what should be used not nsf-dwv. pw- pressure water dwv- drain waste vent.

What material are you using? PVC can be solvent welded. copper is either soddered or compression fittings. Steel at hardware stores are normally threaded so you can use teflon tape for that. epoxy is generally used for sealing leaks but jackssmirkingrevenge uses it in a multitude of ways. next time ...
