If my ass-backwards mind is correct, then the rated pressure is at most 1/2 of the burst pressure for plastics. That way there is a bit of leeway between working pressure, and failure...

Well GGDT's algorithms aren't exactly accurate at high(er) pressures, so you won't get those figures... but it'll be fast, nonetheless. Also, remember that if you make the chamber bigger, you will need a larger barrel to compensate. Pneumatic guns don't suffer the problem of pressure only lasting a ...

Well, as I have no experience with hybrid cannons, I am talking completely out of my arse here. To get the most acceleration, I do believe that you would have to have the burst disk burst at the point in time at, or slightly before, the pressure and speed of the flame front reach their peak, so that...

ask for gasket sheet at lowes or similar. come in 6" x 6" sheets in thicknesses of 1/8" and 1/16". It's not neoprene, per se, but it works perfectly for all your sealing purposes.

Well, for #2, No. Ac motors should run at a constant 3600rpm, I believe. (Unless you're not in the USA, where the AC is pulsed at 60hz)

Not the safest toy, IMO.

This little gadget uses electrolysis of water to create hydrogen. It uses regular tap water with a citric acid catalyst. when used "properly" it launches a little plastic rocket some 100 ft into the air. However, the use of electrolysis introduces the possibility of theoretically endless amounts of ...
