Thanks for the info. One more question of the matter though about the sabot. Since I have a 1-1/4" barrel what would you suggest for the mandrel?

Thanks for the suggestion! Is that only compatible with BB's though? a sabot? no you can use anything as ammo with one, thats probably the best thing about them. Nice I'll put that into consideration. Where would I get my hands on a Mandrel by the way. That's what it says I need in the how to. To T...

That surely would do some destruction. How would I get my hands on some though?

Frozen Spuds & Such

Hello. In the next day me and my buddies are going to shoot our spud guns. However I'm the only one that has an Advanced Combustion Cannon. I really would love to impress them on the damage it can do. All I have shot out of it was raw spuds and D cell batteries. I have a 1-1/4" barrel. I had an idea...

I'm not sure if I know what you mean by putting it in series with the low voltage side. I know what putting in series means but I have never heard putting it on the low voltage side. Sorry for me being a noobie...

Safety Switch

Hey guys. I have a real quick question, so I have an electric bbq ignitor it's pretty much the same one featured in this thread. Link: http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/mod-an-electric-bbq-igniter-how-to-t14589.html Anyways. I was thinking about wiring some sort of safety switch to it. However I'm not...

Aaaa. I see thank you. So sense the chamber splits into the handle would I just add up those inches from where it splits?

Any easier method? The barrel is already glued together and so is the chamber, and is dry. If there is no other method how would I go about this?

Volume Calculation

Hello. I've recently built myself a new cannon. This cannon has a smaller chamber and is more compact. I'm going with the syringe method of fueling the chamber. I know how the method works, however I don't know how to calculate the chamber volume in ML. My chamber splits from a Tee in the middle. Lo...

Most of my guns I have sharpened the end of witch I'm loading the spud in. I have never tried any other methods of cutting the projectile down to size. I knew that having a tight fit would be the best performance when shoving it in. I never really understood how those different methods worked.. But ...
