The piston material is a crayola marker, very ice fit with a good sealing face. I'll try vaseline again. Thanks.

Piston not actuating

I need help.. I made my mini coaxial, I made it so it's actuated by the shrader but every time i push the shrader pin in all the air goes out the back.. not the front.. This is pissing me off so freaking much.. I did every possible thing.. I made the piston a real good fit and still didn't work.. it...

No , I am not sure about the rubber type material because it tends to be to stiff to seal the barrel of for a small cannon like this one.

Neoprene Substitute

Last night I was out for about an hour and a half going from store to store looking for neoprene for my small coaxial.. No one seems to have it..I even went to an Beer distributor for Beer Coolies and they were out.. Any idea what to use? I used Inner tube before but it's not stiff so it won't seal ...

Exactly, 4.5 is what need, so they probably don't have it in the front? I'll just call them and get it over with. :D
