Well the auction's price just changed to $22 per foot, which is quite a bit more than I'd like to spend, so this is off the table for now. I'll just keep my eyes peeled for some pipe at construction sites or maybe I'll call a couple local plumbing places to see if they would be willing to sell me a ...

Good point. I wonder how many shots a basketball could take out of a cannon like this? If I were to build build this, I'd also have to figure out a way to plug one end of it. Since a 10" cap costs several hundred dollars, I'd probably use concrete to cast a base around the pipe, which would make the...

Not sure yet. I'd love to but I don't really have the space to shoot it (I live in the suburbs). I could take it to a local park I suppose...

Four feet would cost me $86 shipped to where I live. That's manageable but I'm trying to think how often I'd actually get out and shoot it

That compressor looks reasonably similar to the one I have out of an A/C.

You should look through this thread and you'll find some info about how I wired mine.

I've been meaning to do this for awhile with my chrony. However, I've already shot mine once and used the opportunity to upgrade from an F-1 to the Alpha version. :D

Everyone assumes a 3/4" QEV will outperform a 1" sprinkler valve based on the assumption that the QEV has a much better flow path than the sprinkler valve.

That being said, I'd like to see someone take some screen shots and post them so everyone can see.

As far as rifled barrels go, Crosman sells replacement barrels that are 24" long in .177 and .22 and they are both under $20 I believe. Anyone who has modded a Crosman gun probably knows this but I don't think I've ever seen anyone use one of their barrels in a conventional "spudgun" design.

Palmer's Stabilizers are the best you can buy. Adjustable 0-800 psi. Kinda pricey though. Look around their site they have everything you need.
