You can do it!! Try it to death and learn from mistakes. Nice project to start with these things, and you have great enthusiasm, that is pure energy.

Found out the problem thanks for the help guys. :) I simply had a leak, the attachment i have just doesn't give an air tight seal against the ninja outlet, really noticed it when i gave it more pressure. :roll: But good times ahead, looking forward to filling this up once i have the right attachment...

No hurry, BFG #7 took me a year to complete. Is the ball/spring a non return valve ? could the air be coming straight back out again into the pump ? or does the pump have a built in non return. I think i simply have to wait for the regulator..but i still see no reason as to why the tank doesn't fill if i removed the valve/spring, etc? Basically removed everything so its just a bottle and still doesnt fill. Could you simply not be aware of how many strokes it will take to fill the thing? D...

Looking at your mockup, why is the chamber connected to both the slide valve and the QEV? Shouldn't you have a separate firing chamber? Jack the mock has nothing to do with the Ninja tank, that mock up is just a mock up. :wink: The Ninja tank is for my first cannon. I have the tank and pump..i cant...

so it fills through both ports ? it wants to fill from chamber, so modded QEV? Hi guys i have my hpa tank and pump...pump works great when i tested it with the plug, no leaks, etc.

Removed the bearing from the valve, but having trouble filling it up, what have i missed?

Is there another fitting/attachment i'm supposed to have apart from the regulator?

I was working on the qev yesterday for one of the pistol plinker's and finally managed to get it to seal whilst filling. The hole was too small and the spring was a little too long, trimmed that, opened the hole and it sealed, but the 3-way was back to front so it was cycling when pushing forward in...
