Unread postAuthor: cwazy1 » Sat Sep 22, 2007 10:23 pm

So, today i went to home depot and bought some normal all purpose paint in a can, wow, it turned out soooooo bad. i ended up sanding it all off...lol

so im wondering what paint would be best to paint pvc?? like what brand of paint and etc.

i heard that krylon was good? is there something else? and if i did use krylon, how many layers should i apply?

thanks guys!

Any paint that has an enamel base, and contains a large percentage of acetone or MEK will work well on PVC. The acetone or MEK will dissolve the PVC at the surface of the pipe, allowing the paint to bond to it. The enamel will then polymerize over the course of several days, forming a durable finish.

People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people.
