Electronic spark

Unread postAuthor: ralphd » Mon Dec 24, 2007 3:01 pm

Does anyone have a good, reliable, online source for electric grill igniters. Since it's winter time everyone has stowed their outdoor stuff.

Not the piezo igniters, the igniters that take a AAA battery and gives a spark for as long as you hold the button

Hrm, I guess you didn't read the post, he specifically said non-piezo ignitors.

You can go to most hardware stores online and place your order, or just try Ebay.

They cost about $16-18 but its worth the extra dollars. dono where in the world your inquiring from but i sapose they'd ship em?

Stun gun or ignition coil would be better. Look for high voltage projects on google.

That sounds great to me. I'll be sure to look for it. By the way, I checked Lowes, Home Depot and Wal-Mart. It's all put away until spring....maybe Ohio is different.

no no, my system works, at least at normal atm pressure. requires no different tools than for a standard BBQ. you will need heat reducing insulating wires, epoxy, and off course, what makes it particular : a "..........." *leaves it blank just for fun.*
