This entry is being made because my grand plan to blow up an acrylic box (pressurized bottle inside) was a total failure. If you don't believe me i'll upload the rather upsetting footage!

Anyway <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3nno1IhVvtU&feature=related">This Entry</a> is all i could get before the cut off date.
The cannon used was my <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kQj24VBA89c">Brass Bruiser</a> at a 5x mix, firing at 10mm thick acrylic.

Well, basically i shot it and the box held together- i must have made it too strong, i know the coke bottle was at around 100psi but it didn't tear. The nail went through both sides of the bottle.

maybe shooting a pressurised PVC chamber would have been a better idea, as it's more liable to shatter - or just make an acrylic chamber :) doesn't need to be very high psi inside for a big boom :D
