Help on my mega gun.

Unread postAuthor: Urban Ninja » Sun Feb 12, 2006 12:39 am

This is a really stupid question but do you think it will make any difference painting all the pices before I glue them or put them together. I dont want to take my chances in masking them off when built then painting it, so I want to do it now. All the pieces are goin to be different colours. The pipes one colour an fittings another. Sorry for the simplicity and stupidness I may be showing.

I'd say that painting the parts before assembly would be risky; any paint that would be deposited on the bond area would decrease the joint strength.
However, if you are carefull (excessive) with your masking tape, you should be able to pull it off safely.
