Dude, you need to check out the how to forums, and the spud wiki is very good for instruction. If you never built one before, i sugest you start out small and work your way up. Good luck.

Ok now that we are in the right forum, I will attempt to either help you or send you into a deeper state of complete confusion, hopefully the former :P . Since you are new, I will try to explain the basic working of a pneumatic. basically the chamber is pressurize while the barrel is not... a valve between the chamber and barrel is the nopened quickly. Because the force on one side of the projectile is greater than that on the other side... the item will be propelled out of the barrel. I'm not entirely certain what kind of gun your talking about but i would suggest something like this...

However, you will probably want to replace the ball valve with a sprinkler valve for increased performance. however you can not simply buy a valve and slap it on. you will need to modify it which you can learn how to do here....
http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=305
The blowgun can also be placed directly on the valve ( not using the hose in otherwords) in which case you will get something looking along the lines of this

jrrdw, sorry for being a pain, but im new at this, can you please provide me with the URL for these instructions your talking about.

i need a ''How To'' on Making a Pnuematic cannon, with simple text instead of strong worded language, and something that can be easily understandable.

thank you very much for your consideration
and thanks very much guys :D

DANG! Research! This is basic 101.

In understanding how guns work all you need to understand is that a pressure difference is created inside a chamber which propels a projectile out. Its simple all combustions, pneumatics, and hybrids do is create a pressure difference then the projectile is launched during the process of the pressure difference balancing. (The pressure difference is between the chamber and the outside of the cannon)

Also please stop going around asking for stuff and including contact infromation.

EDIT IN REPLY OF POST BELOW:
I recently talked to K40T1C. It seemed mad, but I would rather claim to be frusterated. In basic designs plans arent needed seeing as preciseness is not required. From personal experience I never learned when people simply feed me plans, but when I learned to research and understand how they work I became self-suffeient and never needed plans since.

Wow pimpmann, no need to ruin the party. Obviously the people here that have posted, myself included, are more than willing to help out a fellow spud gunner that is new. If people don't want to take the time to help other people out, then don't. But you should. After all, you would want other people to help you out if you were new to this and having diffuculties. And if you REALLY want to be a jerk and not help your fellow human, then please, do us all a favor, and go away.

Post Script Oh! Before you even think about it, don't pull some crap about you being a moderator and threatining to ben me out of your bag of tricks. If you really want to, go ahead and ban me. I'm sure that most people will agree with me that is a good thing to help somebody in need and before you know it, you'll have half this forum at your throat.

Have a nice day,
K40T1C

This is about as simple as your going to get.

http://www.spudfiles.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=122

Basically a pneumatic has some type of compressed gas (usually air) stored in a piece of pressure rated pipe behind a valve. This compressed gas can come from either a bike pump or some type of air compressor.

In this example, the pressure is stored in the 2" pipe and the 2" curved fittings you see there. The tank is filled through a valve in the end of the pipe. Then after the bends comes a simple ball valve that you just twist to open, then after that is a barrel. To fire, just fill the chamber to whatever PSI you want (I would stay under 125 for safety) with the valve closed. Then plop in some ammo and point and turn the handle on the cannon quickly. The air should come rushing out making your ammo fly.
