I've seen some so I'm sure that you can. I think that Saladtosser has some on his site. In the second section

It would work, but it wouldn't be as powerful.

Over/unders are indeed possible to make, and because the chamber length doesn't add to the overall length, are more energetic for their size.

(And the above posters saying that full-diameter elbows don't restrict flow much speak the truth - they don't.)

So where's the checkbox for if you have both types? I've made plenty of each but my favorite is an over-under for its easier handling.

This is one of my favorite launchers. It was my second one. The pictures are horrible but it's pretty neat. http://forums.spudtech.com/topic.asp?AR ... C_ID=11360

Just wondering doesnt the over under style in combustion ruduce the performance due to the turns which slows the expansion and release of it out the barrel?

Im not sure really, never made one to compare to a normal combustion, but I'd say even if proformance was reduced...you probably would'nt be able to tell that much of a difference. And, even if you could, over-under cannons just look soo much cooler that no one will care.

Gort- I edited the poll just for you...

Rambo- There is two basic configurations when it comes to potato guns. Straight is when the barrel and chamber are in-line with each other. Over and under is when your chamber is positioned beneath your barrel. It then takes 180 degrees to connect the chamber to the barrel, which is usually done with two elbows (90 degrees). Click HERE for more information on cannon configurations.

Holy S*^# Its Still Going- Where did you get the tubing for your metering system from? Is that the tubing used on the back side of toilets? If so, did you just chop off the old ends and secure in two hose barbs? Amidst all of this, very nice cannon.
