Special PVC fittings

Unread postAuthor: Hubb » Fri May 22, 2009 10:52 am

While searching the web for nothing in particular, I came across this:

http://www.pvcplans.com/pvc-suppliers.htm

It is a supply list of special pvc fittings. Enjoy.

I find spudding exciting too but not that much  :D

*ahem* nice find, though I wonder what pressure rating "furniture grade" translates to...

I'm not sure on the pressure rating of "furniture grade" pvc fittings, although they would go nicely with cosmetic appearances for a launcher.

I'm pretty sure "furniture grade" is thinwall and not pressure rated. I've seen PVC furniture before, and I don't think I would trust the fittings with pressure.

I wouldn't knock furniture grade too soon. It may be built to take the bending stress that makes PVC pneumatics grenade. It may be softer and less brittle.

There is a possibility it would hold up better to this kind of stress.

As with anything used with pressure, proper testing is required.
