How can I stop leaks in my 100psi Bell Airstrike1000? I noticed the leak is where the hose connects to the body. I also have noticed that a screw when adjusted correctly adjusts the leak very slightly.

If it leaks over the rating, take the compression fitting off and put epoxy all over the joint before reassembling. If it leaks under the rating, take it back.

Bell pumps suck; I've had three, and 2 of them blew apart at under the rated pressure. The latest one, which I purchased for $10 during a Christmas sale, has held up for a few hybrid firings, but it probably won't last much longer.

Found this little video about a hammer valve
I understand how it works, but will that inner piston really work? For a hammer valve I think that piston is unnecessary and will only diminish the flow, but still a interesting concept, maybe helpful to make multi shots
What do you guys think?http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MPyTlqXc0vM&feature=related

That's not just a hammervalve.
It's a regulator and hammervalve combination.

The piston closes off the airflow as the pressure overcomes the spring.
So it's a regulator...

It looks like it has 3, I would say its a 3 way valve, but if you can't identify, there's only one other way to find out.

http://www.solenoidvalvesuk.com/solenoidsymbols.asp

Edit: I think is a Two position, three way, normally closed push button
operated valve with spring return.

yup you're almost right...
It is a 2 position, 3 way, normally closed solenoid valve with spring return (and a manual overide - I can't see a button or lever there but the symbol suggest that there is one somewhere (maybe the screw on top of acts as it)

@wyz
make sure it has 3 threaded ports
it is very likely that it has one of the ports on the top (under the cap) if that third port isn't threaded you can use it as an universal valve (one that can be used either as a NO and NC valve)

EDIT
yup, it has its third port there >>

ohh and wyz put more pics of it and test it - I am acctualy considering getting a 2 way version of them and I found them for like 9$

Does that little hole in the sides ports go right through ?

The air-tac ones do, which makes them useless.

Yes!!! DAMN!!!!
I will have to tap one side and use it as a super lame solenoid valve :(

uhmm what do you mean by that?? I assume it has something to do with the fact that they can be used in manifolds but I just want to be sure I get you right
