I believe it's going to be used as a grip.
Jake can probably give you a more detailed answer

Its a handle grip, helps gripping the handle thus making the fire cycle faster. It looks awesome on the 97k and i think it will perform very well

Dont worry, youll get pics when i get it

Certainly sits at the top on many an airgunners list. 8)

Still second place to a Whiscombe though. :)

IF you can find one for sale...and IF you have rather DEEP pockets.

I really like the stocks on 97k's although knowing your work yours would be a very nice looking stock.

Some photos of fine machining from the Heeresgeschichtliches.

The main event is the original shipbuilder's model of the battleship S.M.S Viribus Unitis which is enormous and just unbelievable. A lot more photos of the thing here.

A small closeup of one of the guns, the level of attention to detail is mindblowing.

A model of a torpedo, looked very familiar :D

Fuse on an early torpedo, fantastic finish considering it was meant to be blown up.

I don't have one either but I've used other people's. Theres a bit of skill involved but it's easy to get the hang of.
