To be safe you should just hook mabey around 8 bottles up to a compressor and find out what the average bursting pressure is for them, and keep whatever pressure you are using a safe amount under that. The reason you should do this is beceause people from different places can sometimes have different bottle types such as between canada and the us where up here we have 2 liter bottles and in the us I think has like 3 liter bottles, these will have diferent burst pressures, and some bottle manufactures make the bottles different for certain brands. I am bored so Im trying to build a massive water rocket and I found that certain brands where different thicknesses and different widths, and held different amounts of pressure. So be safe and take 20min to do alitle testing so you know for shure what a safe pressure is.

MythBusters said 2 liters pop at 160psi, 1 liter bottles are probably good to 180psi, but I'd only fill either of them to maybe 120 psi
