Camera Flash

Unread postAuthor: LGM » Sun Feb 18, 2007 12:26 pm

Here is a pic of a older camera flash setup that I want to use for a hybrid, but I can't get it to work, anybody that knows a lot about electronics please assist.

The purple and green wires on top are the ones that went to the shutter button, the yellow and brown off to the side are the ones that went to the switch that turned the flash on, I already shorted them out. Black and red go to the power source.

You have quite a mess there. I'd say keep the capacitor, it might be good for something, and dump the rest. Get a new camera and leave the circuit board attached to the camera. Then you can see where everything is and it doesn't get tangled up.
