Unread postAuthor: pat123 » Sun Mar 25, 2007 2:50 pm

if i have a 4" chamber go into a 1" sprinkler valve and then a 2.5" barrel

Yes, s prinkler valves make pretty good main valves, you should mod it for better preformance, and a cooler looking trigger.

A 1" valve most likely will not be sufficient. Try at least a 1.5" valve.

The bigger the valve the better the flow so bigger is way better.

Good luck & Happy Shooting

well, there isnt much of a diff in the internals of a 3/4 vs. a 1", the only diff is the porting.

but i would go for a 1.5 like ben said.

no sprinklers don't come in 1/2. you don't solvent weld a sprinkler you put teflon tape around 2 male treads. thread em in and solvent weld those to your pipe.

Use two 1" modded valves, that would look cool.
