kinda big....... scuba tanks are about 3 feet long and about 4 inches in diameter (at least the ones ive seen).

if you cant get a hold of an airsource cartridge, theres always thos uber-cool copper "air chamber" fittings.

btw, anyone know what those copper "air chamber" fittings are actually used for?

pnematic tools!!
And those are the big air tanks there are smaller sizes of scuba tank witch are like 1.5 to 2 feet and 2-3 inches in diamiter!
Old oxy bottles from BOC could work to!

thanks for the suggestions guys unfortunately i cant salvage anything from bb guns......BECAUSE OF THE FRIGGIN AUSSIE GOVERNMENT!

ANyway, now i've had my rant ill get back to topic im going to muzzle load it (for now  ) and ill modify it later.I dont think i will go for a mag because the chamber will only hold one good shot's worth of air.

Tanks guys im taking this all into consideration. :D :D :D :D

Why not try this type of design. The person that built this als was trying to make a replica gun.

VH_man wrote:umake sure you have a high-pressure rated valve. most .25 cal airguns cost 600-800 bucks, so if oyu spend 200 on this thing youre doing well....

VH_Man i don't plan on spending 200 bucks.I am going to bunnings intwo hours for the parts and should have it assembled not firing by tonight.
Its just a scaled down pneumatic cannon. :D .

I'll be spending roughly 100 bucks all up but i already had the stock and barrel so ill probably be spending 75 0r 60 bucks today at bunnings.

SO far, i have completed my Pistol Grip (PSG-1) and my stock (Parker Hale M82).

In case you haven't noticed my gun is based on all different ones.THis is the first one like this i've tried so once i've done all this and finisheed this one i'll probably make a really good replica of a Unique Alpine TPG-1.

BUt this is my starter one so yeah.

A little later i'll start another thread with my gun assembled and build log pics.

Thanks for all the input guys.

Thanks Bubba,

I've got the parts now and to let you know i've had to use a blowgun as the valve please comment about this i.e. what will happen and what performance will be cut.

ANd i might also have to post this in the BB gun section but probably not.

Got some frikkin' awesome Danish Desert Camo which im painting on it right now.

THanks for all the help guys.
Remember look in the BB section.
