This might work on piston guns too, I wouldn't know, I never got my piston to actuate, but I know that it works on my sprinkler valve. Holding down the blowgun trigger causes the gun to make a F# tone. I can adjust the pitch by putting my finger over the outlet on the blowgun. I have only got this to work once, but holding it down while filling it up and waving my hand at different distances from the outlet on the barrel, I can make it harmonic, where it gets very high pitched and much louder. I get different pitches with different barrels. Anyone else ever notice this?

Note: I live in a golf course neighborhood and the temptation to honk at people during down swing is growing stronger.

The barrel attached in the picture is a 1/2" SCH40, I am currently using a 1" SCH40 barrel.

I'd honk at people on the downswing too.

You could also use it scare the living crap out of your mailman by rigging it to honk when the mailman opens the mailbox.

I'm a fairly good golfer...the best time is right at the take away.
You've probably seen the Jackass Video....they did it perfect with an air horn.

A good golfer will just swing through it.

The guy that thinks he's good but isn't will get very pissed......and look to his buddies for a free stroke.

It's called "the rub of the green".....stuff that happens between the tee box to the green.

Why not use an air horn? They are a lot more compact and can last longer

Last longer than 21 gallons @ 150 PSI outputing @ 40 PSI? Not to mention that my compressor can fill up the tank faster than I can fire it at 40 PSI, and has no duty cycle.
