Just a reminder story

Well I do believe my old story was archieved but this is always a good reminder of what potato guns could do.

To put it simple, my friend was jacking around with my basic combustion gun. He didnt realize there was still glue fumes in the chamber. He points the gun at my face "joking around" and pulls the trigger. Shoots a nice fireball right at my eye.

This picture was taken 2 weeks after the accident. I had plastic pieces in my eye, a burnt eritna, my cornea was brused, and i had burnt hair in my eye. Today, I'm fine. Nothing was hurt badly and my eye works just as fine as it did. Thankfully the top eye doctor was at the hospital that day. These cannons arent toys kids.

ah thanks. now you can see the picture. The day it happened was about 10x worse than whats in the picture, considering the picture was 2 weeks after it happened.

I've had my fair share of hair-burning instances. I've lost my eyelashes (not eyebrows, eyeLASHES) 3 or 4 times, lost an eyebrow twice, and lost about half the hair on the front of my head once, but nothing as bad as what happened to you. Ouch.

nice to see your ok. I've had my fair share of chamber ignitions in the face. Burnt all my hard grown facial hair off the first year i built the guns (of course now i shave it and it I can't make it STOP growing back!)...
