Well yeah the whole frog thing was pretty bad. I wasn't trying to yell or nothing. I just couldn't help but think about if the arrow hit someone.

how long was your barrel to begin with? how big is your chamber?

I am quite curious, shortening a barrel does nothing for performance unless the combustion chamber was too small. the perfect ratio between chamber volume and the barrel volume is between about 1.4/1 to about 1.7/1 anywhere around 1.5/1 ratio will give you good performance, too big, not good, too small, not good. If the barrel was shortened there is less time for the projectile to accelerate to maximum velocity, assuming that your ratio is correct.

I once shot a homemade arrow with a simple bal valve cannon and I reached 176 meters. They really shoot far. What distance would you get with a powerfull canon?
