"Well engineered" and "well designed" are mutually exclusive, in my opinion.

i cant tell you how many times Ive felt like im reading something my dad would say.

My dad graduated high school as well, no college. He's a smart guy and loves to work with his hands. Attention to detail is incredible. Really its why I'm the same way, and why my current project is painted to near perfection, each part designed over and over.

He always like to complain about engineers screwing up designs. The best part is, my sister and I are both very smart. She is an engineer and I will be one. BigBang I feel like Im repeating you!

One thing I've learned from my dad is that you can be the smartest and know the most, but that doesn't mean shit until you have applied that knowledge.
