Pneumatic: minipump Marines paintjob gift

Just build a cannon and want to show it off? Post it in here.

Nothing really special about the gun. Its a minipump v3.5 with a shorter stroke and a longer barrel than the previous one. That way it gets the same velocity with much less effort. It was made as a gift so I wanted it to look nice. Heres what I ended up with:
<a href="http://gbcannon.com/pics/minipump/marines/extended.jpg">extended</a>
<a href="http://gbcannon.com/pics/minipump/marines/side1.jpg">"Marines"</a>
<a href="http://gbcannon.com/pics/minipump/marines/side2.jpg">"Semper Fi"</a>

The only thing I don't like is that I ended up putting the S of Semper Fi a bit crooked

VERY pretty!

Excellent work. The crooked S isn't really a problem; it's no eyesore. The red/yellow scheme is very attractive and not commonly done. Bravo on the good work.

That's an insane paintjob. You should use that colour scheme to make a McDonalds gun[:p]

Damn. I love it! I wish I could do a paint job like that. I am never patient so I always try to do it all in one shot. On my guns there is paint drips and everything else. How big is the gun?

Thanks
Heh didn't even notice it's McDonalds colors, the red and "gold" (yellow) are Marine colors so thats why I chose them.

The gun's total size is 22" long and 6.25" high. The pump sleeve pipe is 1.25" PVC, the barrel sleeve is .5" pvc and the handles are 1" couplers. The pump is 16" long and has about 14.75" of travel.
