coaxial piston cannon.

Just build a cannon and want to show it off? Post it in here.

This is my semi-new coaxial. Ive had it for about 3-4 weeks now. The chamber is a 5' section of 1.5'' sch40 pvc. The barrel is .75 inch sch40 pvc and it 8 feet long. The entire cannon it about 8 1/2 feet long. The piston is melted hot glue sticks, a bolt, and a rubber disk, which was from an inner tube that i cut off my bike. Loading is a pain, but other than that its so much fun. I've acutually gone out and used up a 5lb. bag of potatoes at one time with this thing. If you are wondering why the bolt it so long, its so that i can load with the chamber unpresurized and not have to worry about the projectile going into the chamber. This thing is extreamly powerful. The fill valve is a quick release for the air compressor. It goes from 0 to 120 psi in about 1 second. The fill valve is also the evaust valve. I think this cost me $17. $8 for the chamber, $7 for the ball valve, and $2 for the brushing. I had everything else, including the barrel. this is the gun itself this is the piston this is the fill valve/exaust valve

let me know that you think. What color should i paint it that isnt olive drab or black?

Off topic but you might want to correct the spelling of "busy" in your signature, lest you´re the one who looks like an idiot ;)
