Pneumatic- Ball Valve- DartGun

Heres something simple I through together tonight. Its just a simple ball valve dart gun. 1" piping for the chamber, and a dart gun barrel. Its extremely powerful. It can shoot those metal needle darts through 1x4's. Maybe in the future I'll put a sprinkler valve on it with a electric trigger.

That is a cool cannon. If you do put a sprinkler valve, use a blow gun, it will open much faster. What is the hose and hose clamps for? Is that how you attached the barrel?

Nice gun. It looks like a fun plinker to have around for those times when you get bored.

I see you are considering a sprinkler valve... this would be a very good idea. I used to despise 1" sprinkler valves, believing that no possible power could be attained from a valve with such low flow. However, after observing more and more sprinkler valve cannons, I have come to the conclusion that a sprinkler valve is possibly ideal for cannons with barrel diameters .5 and under. However, a 3/4" QEV still is much better than sprinkler valves...

What psi are you useing? BTW fuel line.... Great idea.

lol what ever the bike pump makes. usually around 60 PSI
