Simple barrel sealing piston gun

Just build a cannon and want to show it off? Post it in here.

This thing was made from all spare parts, except for the bushing at the back of the valve. Anyone like the purple primer paintjob?

Nice... have any information regarding chamber size, valve inlet/outlet, etc?

The valve ports are 1," because that's what the chamber and barrel had on them already. It's exhausted by a 1/2" ball valve, but I'm plannin on upgrading it to a sprinkler for better performance and that would make it more comfortable to hold and shoot. The piston is just a pill bottle filled with Bondo.
The chamber is 2," and about 3 feet long if you measure it. The barrels are 1 1/4" and 2," I haven't shot very much stuff except for a D-Cell and a couple oranges. This thing is reallly loud, and freaked the crap out of the neighbors when they heard the bang and saw an orange come hurtling out of the sky.

I added another foot and a half of 2" pipe to the chamber, and painted the whole thing flat black this morning. Now it can sit flat and fire, like some kind of stationary gun. The piston leaks a little, so I think I might mold a silicone disc as a sealing face.
I tested the cannon with the extension chamber 10 minutes ago with an airtight lemon. The lemon was pushed about 1/4 of the way by piston leakage, then I shot it. It went 40 yards as a yellow flash, then clipped a telephone line and went another 40 or 50 yards, trailing lemon juice and little chunks.
I put the info into GGDT and came out with 424 fps at 100 psi with a lemon. Easily my strongest gun yest. I also put it into GGDT with a paintball and got 780 fps and "WARNING: barrel potentially choking flow" and "WARNING: barrel choking flow"
Not bad.
