He probably can't get one on there because it's illegal to ship them to NY as he said.

If you'd like, I can help you out. Drop me an email. sgort87@hotmail.com

Try a camera stungun...they're easy to make and unofficialy technically legal(sorta like temporarily borrowing forever, you follow?).

Or try connecting the output to an ignition coil via a switch, relay or the flash tube itself. You'll get a long and reliable spark form this circuit (which is not much different from that in a real stun gun).

I need some help with this too: I actually have a stungun one one of my guns and i bought another, and opened it up to put into a project box, with a remote switch for the ignition, well any way after i opened it and as i was taking the circuit board out, i touched the bottom of the board, and i must have touched the solder spot for the cap, That made me jump a bit, anyway, what is the best way to discharge it so i can handle it safley?

Thanks

A screwdriver works, tough if you want a safer and less spectacular method, this is a nice circuit with indicator: http://1176neve.tripod.com/id29.html
Or you can just use the 5k6 5w resistor alone.
Edit: cool I can still post though the forum is supposedly down :)
