you don't HAVE to, it is rated to 200 PSI. SCH40 4" is rated to 220, so do you have to sleeve that..? Eh. Personally I would because I would feel better, and it'd be more stable.. but.. I guess its personal preference. I sure wouldn't shoot water out of it unsleeved! Heh.

Like andeh said, it's PSI rated, but I still woulden't trust it. And Andeh personally knows all about shooting water ;)

sdr 21 fits nicely inside sch 80 2 inch- if you were going to sleeve it, but also you wouldn't necessarilly need to sleeve it for the pressure rating but wouldn't it also bend all over the place if you had a long, maybe 10 foot or more, unsupported sdr barrel since the walls are really thin? that would kinda get annoying and inaccurate. well thats just my .02 :)

like previously stated, its pressure rated, so i agree it was probalby the stress from the whipping. Anyway a 2" sch 80 peice of pipe isn't that expensive and is definitely worth the extra measure considering its alot cheaper then a trip to the ER. -stay safe and always take the extra safety steps-

better safe than sorry. i wouldnt really like it to shatter and have nice little pieces in me. if you had it sleeved and it shattered, it would be inside the 2in sch80, not you.

i'd use abs first. if that stuff fails, it fails instead of exploding. It splits lengthways, not KABOOM *little tiny super sharp pieces of pvc entering your body everywhere*
