So i was thinking of a cool way for a Anti-aircraft looking ammo that works and lloks cool. I was thinking getting a party popper, tying 100 feet of fishing line to the original string, tying a rock to the party popper and shooting it in the air. when the string runs out of slack the party popper will pop shooting the confety in the air.

Nah, looks fine to me. I don't think it would work well though (I believe the rock would shoot ahead of it almost instantly). Perhaps tie the party popper to the cannon itself

I think he was saying he would have the rock just on the ground or something, not neccessarily in the barrel.

It would probably either stop mid air without popping due to the popper's lack of momentum, or pop as soon as it leaves the muzzle due to the fishing line's inertia.

weight the party popper... when it goes taught it doesn't take too much to pop it open

that would look cool... kinda like non-flammable fireworks

If the inertia of the fishing line may cause it to fire right away, I would just get some duct tape and wrap it around the fishing line and back of the popper.

As authentic as you can get! Just stuff it full of pop pops and a metal disk.

uh... that wasn't the point

party poppers are those little plastic things that shoot confetti stremers. pop-its are what you throw at the ground.

I know! the disk would 'detonate' to pop pops at the climax using momentum.
