Yup was in wood shop to day in school and there was nothing to do. So i took some Pine and Spun it on the lathe and made me a nice Wooden Bullet shaped Projectile! :D its kool looking. any one Made any thing some thing like this and how did it work if you have? its Uber easy to make i think it took me like 5 mins to make, if it works good i might make some hard wood ones like Maple, Ash,ect.Thing will pack one hell of a punch tho havent got to use it yet maybe later on tonight.8)

Cut a tip out of a heavier type of wood, then cut the back from a lighter wood. If you attach them it might help the bullets fly straighter.

It would probably be easier to make a long boat-tail on the back than it would be to weight the front.

Since it's already made, What if you'd drill into the projectile from the rear, and put weight in front?

I took a cylinder of pine wood and cut it at an angle down the side with a jigsaw, then grinded it to a point once. It was in no way aerodynamic, but it still packed a mean punch to a soft target (Nothing alive, don't worry!).

A nicely lathed one should work very well.

Why, you silly goose! He's talking about taking the tail off of a boat, and attaching it to the wood plug! ;)

A boat tail is basically a taper. <img src="http://www.questbullets.com/Images/AB%20boattail%20bullet.jpg">

OK i shot it yesterday. And was not overly impressed, with it. so i think i will Try the Boat-tail and see if it will help any. Or maybe my Combustible dose not have enough Power for it. i have a Few at school and i Put them on the scale and one is 54Grams and the Bigger one is 94grams. so idk i might Try them in my Coaxial Gun and see. But in the Combusible they hit the Board on there Side it didnt even look like the tip of it hit the board,

Try to drill a hole in it, and put in some steel rods, that will make it heavier, and make it go strait.
