PCGUY: the segment wasn't from CNN, it was from Inside Edition (on NBC)
I recorded it and encoded it into three different versions.
They can be found here:

There is a high quality DIVX version, a low quality DIVX version (for dial-up users) and a large WMV version which had to be uploaded as a segmented rar. There is virtually no quality difference between the WMV and DIVX version, so there isn't any reason do use the WMV version unless you can't play DIVX movies.

Also, the "unexpected visitors" (the cops) were actually planned, Joel notified them before hand so they could drop in during the recording of the segment.

<br>I have found that spudguns are actually quite popular. Many people build one, fire it for a week or so, then shelve it because it is so unreliable.

Bingo, which may be just as well. Whenever I show people stuff, they always act like I'm dumb when I say its going to be more powerful than any spudgun they've probably seen before... but that doesn't last long.

I get my spudgun parts from a Home Depot that is only about a mile from my house. They are not particularly supportive of our hobby. I swear this is true: Minors aren't allowed to buy pvc pipe or fittings there without an adult.

Than buy the metal stuff! my latest gun is pretty much the only one that has come close to breaking the "some-one-watching-law."
