found great ammo for 1 in. barrels

I was at h.d today looking for new ideas when I came across 7/8 in. rubber things. I forget what they are called but i found them near the spring section. they fit good, great seal. they also have room inside of them for nuts!

like a little rubber cup or what? sorry, but "7/8" rubber things" just doesn't do it for me. what would they be used for normally?
