Too bad more of you don't live near LA, because my hunting lease has been quite accomodating in terms of spudguns. I bring my friends there and we shoot spudguns, rifles, etc. The land that the camp is located on is pretty large. It is right next to a large levee which i usually shoot into. The levee also leads to larger plots of land that are WIDE open. Housing wouldn't be a problem, because the camp can hold about 20 people, complete with 2 showers, a kitchen, porch, compressors, tools and various junk to shoot at.
Unfortunately, the map ( http://www.frappr.com/spudtech ) only shows 2 other people in LA, one of which I can't find on the member list (DriveMyAlien572).

I've read the posts about the Southwest meet and it seemed like an amazing amount of fun. I am very interested in any IPLA event, even if it's out of state.

"sigh"

Just wanted to let yall know that IF anyone in my area wanted to get together, I could make it happen. Too bad I live down here...

I live in LA. If you can get some people going to this, I'd try to make it, instead of going all the way to Nevada next memorial day. Whichever works.

EDIT: Where do you live? Don't give me the exact city, just what Parish? Just trying to get an idea of how far I'll be driving.

Haha Thats Dr Fred. He is a good family friend and also enjoys spudguns and paintball, even at age 50. He always lays out for his noon nap after a hunt and a scotch.

The semi and trailer belong to the owner of the camp (another friend) although the jeep is mione and the truck and small trailer belong to my dad. I think it would be a great location if people want to come.
