Modding a blowgun

I know that alot of you are using sprinkler valves actuated with blow guns, and I am wondering if any of you have tried modding the blowgun as seen on this page.

I just carried out all 4 steps, supposedly increasing the vent diameter from .1" to .2". I have yet to fire the gun using the modded blowgun, so if any of you have tried it and it works, please do tell.

Depending on the blow gun, moding them can help ALOT, especially if you are triggeting multiple valves.. Specifically the ACE hardware ones, those you need to modify the OUTLET of the valve.

I am using a blowgun made by Husky tools, and it seemed restricted in every possible way.
