The chamber is 4 inch sch40 rolled steel rated to 1,600psi; the endcap is also steel and rated to 5,000psi; the bell reducer is steel and rated to 1,500psi. My uncle works in a machine shop and was able to get me all these parts for free

i decided to use both camlocks and a union. The union is galvanized steel and doesnt have a really big seating surface for the burst disk. i have to make a gasket to help it seal. I'm using aluminum foil laminated on one side to hold back the pressure. The laminate helps keep the burst disks maintain shape and reinforces strength.
edit: someone asked why i have a sch40 male adapter on the couplings... Im using sch80 for the barrel, but a sch80 male adapter is 15 dollars. i got this pw sch40 one for $1.99. im also not using metal because i dont want to put a lot of stress on the union and camlock joints (plastic conserves weight). I have two barrels; the first is a 10 foot length of 2 inch sch80 for spuds, and the second is sdr21 sleeved in sch80 (also 10 feet long) for golfballs. i can breachload the golfballs with the 2 inch cam and groove couplings.

i still have to drill and tap the hole for the plug, but i ordered the parts, and i'm good to go. i'm sealing it from the inside with the fouler which i have to modify. i need to cut off the end and use it basically like a nut.
Relay:

i got this relay for 25 dollars and it is incredible. Its an rf relay with a range of 250 feet. Each channel can be individualy set as either latching or momentary, and from there as normally open or normally closed. response time is instantaneous, and because its radio frequency and not infrared, the signal transmits through and around objects. standing in the basement of my house with the relay 3 floors above, it worked flawlessly.
I'm wiring a 100,000V stun gun on momentary to the second channel and using the first channel as an on/off for my air compressor.
im going to finish construction this weekend, but probably wont have this in the finished cannons section until july. i'm excited to see what kind of performance i can get out of this thing.[:p]
