no its really not worth it unless you want a medium size like 1.5" or 1.25. any smaller you could just use a sprinkler valve.

chris is right. when you are talking such a small caliber, there is no reason not to just use a sprinkler valve souped up. it will give you plenty of airflow and not be nearly as frustrating as trying to build a scaled down supah.

id try it for the fun factor.

youd probably be better off building it with a sprinkler valve or using a piston, but i dont see why you cant try it.

I think you would be better off going with a dual sprinkler valve setup, making a supah that small is both time consuming and expensive. I had one figured out in a 2" Tee before, and I think it was like $60-70, not worth it if you ask me:x

whoever told you it cost $30 to make is full of it... the solid pvc rod alone is more than that

why coulnt you use bushings with the ridge bored out and the stick an pipe through attach spring/psiton/diapramgh to the pipe sit glue it into the bushing put and endcap on the end with hose and blowgun and do that same on the other side except pu the barell through to where it needs to be....that would be a lot cheaper taht solid pvc
