Post questions and info about pneumatic (compressed gas) powered launchers here. This includes discussion about valves, ratios, compressors, and anything else relevant to launchers powered by compressed gas.

Had some fun testing out my new gun over the weekend and got around to making the video today. Shots are only around 40 to 70 at max psi, because I couldn't get the air compressor to run that far away from an outlet so I had to shuttle a portable tank back and forth. Later I got a hand pump and some friends and got it up to 120 and shot once for distance, coulnd't tell how far it went though and didnt record a video. The target in the video is an old dresser. The holes it made were skinnier than the golf ball and longer on the top and bottom (from spinning?) Anyway, here is the video, it is 4.23 MB, hope you like it.

let me know if that link doesn't work.

Great video. Do you have an calculated or tested muzzle velocity for that?

thanks for the compliments

the gun is coaxle 4"x6.5'(6' used pressure), barrel is 1.5"sdr21 inside 2" sch 80 and 8.5' long. dump is a modded sprinkler valve.

put it in ggdt once but forgot what it came up with, I hope to get a chronograph eventually to get accual speed

10ms Open/close time
1000ms Dwell

1.700 Bore
