Novacastrian:
Damn, i was hoping for something like maybe 80 feet :( what does your darts weigh? mine is about 2,5 grams each.

any of you guys tried blowgun darts at higher pressures? i tried to search but only found a lot of topics regarding blowguns as triggers and crap homemade darts :?
could be interesting to mount a 2m 12mm (10mm ID) barrel and shoot some 0.40 cal blowgun darts 8)

My measurements are from a combustion, your's will possibly exceed this (i'm damn sure it will). Sorry i should have thought to mention that before

Well, as long as i only fire it at 90 psi the difference isnt THAT big i guess.
small contribution? those slugs are some of the nicest ammo for spudguns i have seen so far, very nice job :D im gonna try making some of those with epoxy, just to try it out :)

st.croixsurfer: You really should try building a piston valve, if you can get your hands on the parts needed, its hardly a challenge to build one. and even if you cant get the required parts, the machining is really worth the effort
And if you think the guns looks nice now, i can only advice you to follow this thread in the future, as i have some upgrades planned. The plans involve bolt action breech loading, multiple shots (not semiauto), a better looking chamber that can take some more pressure, and probably a stock too.

Nice, I love the sleek look. You might want to look into getting something else for your chamber though, depending on what pressure you plan on taking this to.

yea.. you might wanna look into the text abit before posting
I have allready said a couple of times that it is only a matter of time before the chamber will be changed, the pop bottle was a temporary solution so i was able to test the rest of the cannon.
