Well first I took a 1" threaded plug and drilled a hole in the center. I then put a bolt though the hole and bolted it down. I took the 2" -1" threaded bushing and threaded the 1" plug into it and then stuck the bolt in my drill press.
After that all I did was turn on my drill press and cut the grooves with a razor blade and smoothed everything with sand paper.

If you're still having trouble I might hurry up on making a how to for this valve.

Alright I'll do that. I'm actually leaning more towards a video then just straight up pictures, but we'll see, I gotta finish a quarter shrinker and a massed produced piston valve for a kids camp first.

nice cannon but if i were you i would find either a pieace of pipe to fit in between the barrel and the chamber for support or if you have a dremel or a sawsall cut a pieace of wood to fit inbetween to suipport...just sayin :)

I've built a canon similar to that. Yours looks pretty sick and well put together! You should put a support at the end of the barrel and air tank for stability.
