Finished this a couple weeks ago. It works WAY better than I expected it to.
Thanks for providing such a complete source of information all in one place.

Specs,

All pipe is 1 1/4" sch 40 pvc with a pressure rating of 370psi
All fittings are sch 40 pvc pressure rated (to what?)

barrel 36"
chamber 48" approx.
piston is a 1 1/2" end cap faced off and bored to fit over the 1 1/4" fittings.
Bumper is a buna o-ring
sealing face is neoprene diaghragm material

Thanks, for looking, let me know what you think.

Edit for spelling/ trying to add pics and video

It looks good!
What pressure did you take it up to? And did you use more damaging ammo then just marshmellows?
Also, could we have damage pics or even a vid?

Its a nice cannon, and I wish you a long happy spudding time with it. :)

interesting design , looks good you should cut off some barrel and add a threaded coupler so you can change to differnt barrel sizes

Very nice design, I like guns that start to look and get held like real guns.

I can just hear that marshmellow hitting with a splat. Does it stickum to the wall? Nicely done!

Hey, Thanks!

Psycix - I shoot at 90 psi (I fill with a regulator). It is currently -23 C here, this means indoor testing and non penetrating types of ammo. (the boss would be PISSED if I shot a hole in the wall) I'll see about a vid in the next couple days.

Elite - A golf ball barrel might be cool for spring.

jrrdw - It hits pretty hard, I sure wouldn't want to be down range. Disappointingly, they only stick occasionally. :(
