This is my second try at a spud gun. The first one i made was also pneumatic but was alot bigger. Probably about 2 meters overall in a line. This one is about a meter and i have used a smaller chamber. This fills up a lot quiker and is easier to fire. I have fitted a smaller barrel so that i can use it like an air rifle but it is removable. The barrel on this is .5" and i will also fit a 1.5".

yeah, I mean it looks well made...not my style but good, I'm sure most would agree that your barrel is way too short, if you wanna keep the whole gun shortish the make it an 'over-under' so you can make the barrel longer. Great build!

it is well made but the pipe is scratched that takes the first impression down alot )
other than that it is a well made gun for a new guy

thanks for the comments. The reason i made a smaller one was because living in the suburbs i got kowhere to really use a big one. The bigger one was making a whole lotta noise and the neighbours didnt like it so i thought id make a smaller one. As for the paint i would rather fire it than paint it. :) As ya do

I dont wanna steal this thread or anything... so this is my final statement on the matter: I have seen 2 of your guns and both of them I believe were copper... Your guns had a good copper finish on them and I had no problems with your guns (pee wee fun gun). Not painting copper is one thing but pvc without any finishing up or anything looks lazy and is over done...

A lot of people are afraid to speak their mind about these kind of things but I'm not... I have seen probably 300+ guns that were not treated with a good presentation.. In my opinion as well as some others... its just another non-painted pneumatic... Its not really about paint either... a person can polish up their pvc and make it nice and smooth (semi by clide). I'm just saying laziness will show in a person's work. But at the same time if you spend more effort on your work it will show as well..

Anyways lets get back on topic... nice touch of the removable barrels and I hope to see your gun painted in the future.

Yeah you make a good point David, I appologise if my last comment came out some what hostile. There alot alot of spudders on here that build alot of guns that usually are built for power, not looks....or they just aren't into the hobby enough to put in the time and effort to polish up that bit of pipe or give that PVC a coat of paint.

But it is easy to tell the serious enthusiasts from the "want something to pass time" spudders. I'm not bagging anyone but you do make a very good point.

Anyway enough about this topic :D. Sorry guys...

Ah! your Name is close to mine! lol

meh i dont care. I need an Avatar now.... hmmmmmmmmm

anyway, thats a neat little gun you have there. Reminds me of my "spare parts" cannon that shot hunks of Powerbar.

how comforatable is that to hold? the blowgun seems strangely mounted.

Also, if you want it quieter, a Longer Barrel Aids that. Pneumatics can be completely silent if you construct them right..........

its surprisingly easy to hold and is great for just firing footy boot studs at stuff. just like a big pellet gun. but worse
