I made it, a 2m long pneumatic spudgun...the chamber is 4cm diameter, and 1m long, it is connected to a modified diaphragm valve, with one is connected to a 1m long barrel of 18mm diameter...i tested it at 7 bars...(100 psi) and i understand why i didn't get the power of all your guns, with my last spud...i was using a soda bottel, filled up to 50 psi......now, 100 psi is good, i'll stay at this pressure!!

Why Copper

Although copper pipes are easy to solder together and redily availible, I find that PVC pipes are the way to go. If a PVC cannon were to malfunction and explode right next to you, you will probubly not be to seriosly injured, however if a copper cannon were to exploded, it will throw shrapnel and most probubly kill you.

no, pvc would throw shrapnel too, and if you make it correctly neither one would have a significant chance of exploding

As this topic has been brought up, Copper does not shatter, it tears.

If a copper cannon were to fail, you might get temporary hearing damage. If a PVC cannon failed, you'd get "pin-cushioned".

nice to know, since I only have access to copper, no pressure rated PVC

You can get pipe benders for copper that work on that basic principle.

The benders only work because copper stretches instead of breaking.

Nice cannon.
Btw, since you broke the window you should have told him and offered to replace it.
Copper beats pvc because well Its safer less brittle.

it depends on the fitting also, compression fitting cant take as much as a good solde joint. 300 is the maximum id feel safe too
