POLAND_SPUD wrote:that made sense and i know what you mean - explaining these things in english is a real pain in the ass :D I've been trying to build something similar but it had problems with finding a fitting that would house a piston... either it was not smoth enough... making an all steel gun sucks whan you don't have acces to a lathe.... I am looking forward to see dammage pics :-D

try shooting 120 g bolts - they had more than enough power for my 1/2" QEV gun so I think they'd be ideal for your gun

BTW do you use any cooling for your firdge pump ? I've recently find out that air cooling works fine for prolonged use/abuse :D
You can house the piston in a normal nipple pipe, just file down the seam and add some o-rings to your piston :) my o-rings arent there to make a seal, they are there to make up for the rough surface of the nipple pipe :)

And yea, i will definately try some heavy ammo, ive talked to larda about him making me a mold for hollow tailed lead slugs for this beast.. should be good :D

Edit: at the moment i dont have any cooling for my compressor, but im considering a 120mm computerfan. As little as i fire my guns because of their loudness, i dont run my compressor that often :)
Proud and happy owner of a fridge compressor :D

Great scale-up you have going on here, with those dimenstions there's going to be very little it won't punch a hole through :D
