As Somebody Asked What Schedule My Barrel Was it is 80

yeah a Modded Sprinkler Valve Would Be Much Better than the Plain Old Ball Valve, Should make it Much More accurate and Possibly Add Some More Power to it

As for the Cannon I do Believe that the Copper Can Take about 600 PSI

If you want your cannon to be all metal, I would have to say, use a Dayton or ASCO solenoid valve .They are made of brass and they are very similer to plastic sprinkler valves.. They are even modded like one also. I would suggest a 3/4" one, any bigger or smaller I dont think it would work well. If you go from 3/4" to 1" a 1" valve is way to heavy. If you go 1/2" you are cutting air volume. I think 3/4" size in ASCO or Dayton solenoid valves will work good. I think you can pick them up on Ebay for like $25.00-$30.00 or cheaper if you are lucky!
