That stuff is for cpvc, although I highly doubt it makes that much of a difference...

Trust them on the pvc cap. I just blew mine out on my combustion ! Also watch out for that dwv bell reducer.

Ok I don't doubt that a man was killed with a clean out cap, but probably because he didn't screw it on properly, pretty obvious to me that's the case there. I do however object to the idea that when properly implemented they will/might fail in even an advanced combustion. the weakness is the threading not being sealed tight enough which in a spray and pray is a very likely scenario, not so in a properly vented advanced.

Any way I know this is off topic and I don't even want to pretend I know whether it's appropriate in a pneumatic.

Radiation they will fail on an advanced combustion. I just shot mine and it shattered into 3 pieces. It was plenty sealed and was never dropped or abused.

Your's was just a tad bit modified though... :wink: But, put me in the crowd that doesn't like screw-in endcaps, especially for advanced models.

Yeah man cleanout caps are s*** they can break when you tighten them to much. I had a (plumbing) job where it took 5+ hours because a POS cleanout cap. I wouldn't trust it at all.
