hi,

I got some new materials for an upcoming gun but couldn't resist building a gun combining some old and new parts :D
I shot it at max 12bar because I need to buy an 40bar pressure gage. and at 12bar it's a beast!
see pic, is it safe to have 30 bar on the chamber? (I guess it's steel)

please don't start about overkill chamber :D

specs:
-1/2" qev
-30cm 2" chamber
-16mm ID marble barrel(1m)
-quickconnect and chackvalve to fill
-1/2" sprinkler pilot

Nice marble blaster there!

But I gotta ask, it looks like there are 2 QEV's on there, What is the thing over the blowgun?

And the chamber is overkill  just kidding its fine

it's a sprinkler to pilot it, the sprinkler is piloted by the blowgun

no the chamber is overkill because it's for an upcomming semi auto:D

Why do you need to pilot the QEV with the sprinkler? because right now that looks to be the weakest part of the gun, and without it that setup looks capable of a couple hundred psi, and then it could really be a "super marble gun"!

Nice! Essentially the same as mine (for now).
We should go do some synchronized shooting one day.

Maybe get a 2nd barrel for a sawed-off mode, it will look lovely.

we can compare and see how much presure you need more to get the same result. I do not think it differs a lot.
:P you can make a simple mold to make slugs (wax for e.g.)

I want to try a big bore to shoot some waterballoons :D

it's great.... did you consider switching to a 3/4" QEV for maximum performance ??
